Kickboxing Assessor / Referee workshop and courses

Learn how to assess sparring and kickboxing fights

As a coach and instructor you want to give the best advice to your students and feedback to enhance their sparring skills based on their actual ability and aiming to extend and broaden that skill set.

The Assessor/Referee workshop, is an obvious way to fast-track your own skills and ability to objectively assess your students sparring and enable you to give them the most relevant feedback.  For Example in Olympic Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Rugby etc for many years, professional teams actually invite top referees to their training sessions – this is also a possible option for you as a SSK  Black Belt Instructor. Even if you are not training at an International level, the better you can assess  sparring in your own class, the better prepared your students will become for Regional and Black Belt Gradings.

SSK Taolu competition – will also be used as a vehicle for mentoring Assessors where you can partner a senior Asssessor
–  speak to your instructor first and the organisers at these events

SSK Sanda – will also be used as a vehicle for mentoring Judges  and opportunities for gaining Referee experience

The BCCMA also run Sanda and Taolu training courses  annually or Bi-annually , for experienced Ref’s and Judges, who can be invited to participate in British, European and World events – Fantastic opportunities for San Shou Kuan members.
