Competitive fun!
At any time, Teams can play one ‘joker card’ – that form will get double points! (Entrants not grading today but attempting their next grading form also get 1 bonus point for their team).
Competition format:
[Little Dragons ONLY do 1 round as a team of 3]
ROUND 1. Two people (from different teams) at a time will do their required form.
When all teams have finished their first form
– team scores will be displayed.
ROUND 2. As above, doing 2nd required form.
When all teams have finished their second form
– updated team scores will be displayed.
ROUND 3. As above, doing 3rd required form
When all teams have finished their third form
– there will be a break.
Those grading will do their fixed sparring (and free sparring if required).
Final competition results are revealed, all competitors get their T shirts and winning
teams are presented with their medals on the podium.
Looking beyond a form ‘good enough’ to pass a grading – you’re enhancing your explosive power and execution of techniques. Novices doing a very good form get a very good mark, seniors doing more complex forms the challenge is greater, as is your skill level – who can get the best marks doing their respective forms?
