You don’t have to be “Super flexible”, “young”, “done another martial art before” or “get fit before I start*”, to start a class !
You simply need to turn up and try and keep turning up to make progress…
( These quotes are concerns voiced by many people when they first started including a couple of our Black Belt instructors – who are simply white belts that never gave up!)
* “get fit before I start” is the most common thing we hear, if you’re unfit take lots of breaks and yes you may ache the next day! This is called ‘DOM’s, we’ve all been through this as you use muscles you’ve forgetten you had!
